The Healthcare Consortium is celebrating 25 YEARS of connecting our community to care with its Children and Adults Rural Transportation Service (CARTS)!
Since the program’s first days of operation back in 1999, CARTS has helped thousands of people to get and stay healthy by bringing them to and from their healthcare appointments. Join us in marking this milestone with a fundraiser for the program on Thursday, August 1st at Upper Depot Brewing Co. in Hudson.
Enjoy mingling with other supporters and leaders in our Columbia County community, drinks and bites from local businesses, and of course, joining the Consortium in ushering in the next quarter-century of CARTS!
About CARTS
CARTS provides door-to-door non-emergency medical transportation services to Columbia County residents of all ages, abilities, and incomes. Utilizing our own fleet of vehicles operated by our courteous and compassionate drivers, we transport clients from Columbia County to healthcare providers and facilities, both throughout the County and well beyond. The CARTS motto is “Our cars, our drivers, our pleasure” and we mean it!
Since its start in 1999, CARTS has provided nearly 4,000 people with over 245,000 rides to and from their medical appointments and has covered more than 3,700,000 miles!
